Been awhile...

Ok, so I have a lot of catching up to do!  Things have been a little hectic.  Honestly, I don't even know where to start....
School is out and the kids enjoy staying home with Daddy!  Preston was definitely ready to sleep in, he hates getting woken up early.  This was his way of staying asleep when we got him up to get ready for daycare
Chloe is in the full swing of walking now, but this was a tough shot to get 5 weeks ago.  She looked awfully cute in this outfit.

We got Chloe's 1 year pictures taken 2 weeks before her birthday and it was a lot of fun to actually get them taken.  We of course bought too many which made the end of the session not so fun.  I think Chloe enjoyed eating cake though!  It was very difficult to decide which ones to choose.

 Just relaxing in the morning.
Our friends Kailey and Mark are moving to Jeff City to be closer to family, so we had a little barbeque before they left us for good :)

On June 1st, we lost a great man.  Great Papa Red suddenly passed away.  We will always dearly miss him.  In fact Preston was talking about him today and said that he was his favorite!  That weekend we went to Ste. Genevieve and after the funeral we went out to the lake where Papa Red loved to spend his time fishing and just being.
Chloe hanging out, I think she was tired
Preston got to use his fishing pole for the first time!  He had a fabulous time

 So excited!

 Caught one on Daddy's pole!

Ahh!  I don't wanna touch it!

Terra's cousin, Melissa, had a baby girl Morgan on June 1st!  We are so excited to welcome her into the world!  She is very cute and seemed so tiny, but really she was just a little bit smaller than Chloe.  The kids had a great time and it was so great to see everyone!

 "I wanna see!"
I picked Chloe up to see Morgan
So then Preston wanted picked up too!
We also went to St. Louis for our friend's 30th birthday party.  Jeni threw a great party and we had a lot of fun seeing everyone, some people that we hadn't seen since college.  The theme was baseball and Jeni even had a baseball pinata for the kids - she had 7 pounds of candy in it!  They have a swing on their tree and it goes really high, the kids loved it!

Chloe and Audrey playing at the party.  They are 4 days apart!

Preston had a lot of fun with all the little boys that were there!

Preston started preschool!  So much for sleeping in everyday! :)  He is going Monday and Wednesday mornings.  The first day was only a little rough but I am pretty sure it was only because another little guy was crying.  Most days he loves it and is ready to go, but Wednesday this week he cried hard core and it was really hard for me to leave.  He called me when AJ picked him up and told me how great of a day he had.  He is learning a lot and is impressing the teachers with everything he knows already!

 In front of the school!

For Chloe's birthday, Terra took the day off work.  We went to the pool and unfortunately it is too early in the year for the water to be very warm, so Chloe hated it!  I thought it would be a good idea since she loves the water so much, but I guess not!  For lunch we went to Arby's and then after dinner we had some birthday cupcakes.  We sang "Happy Birthday" and then Chloe blew out her own candle!  It was great!

 Preston; however, loved it!

 Preston also loved his cupcake

I'm trying to upload the video of Chloe blowing out her candle but it isn't working.  I will keep trying tonight.

Alright, that is enough for now.  I'll put some more on tomorrow!
