Any way you say it, Chloe is getting too big! I cannot believe she is 18 months old already :(
She has really started talking a lot and tries really hard to have a conversation with you. AJ said the other day in the truck Preston was trying to talk to her about something and he kept asking her if she heard him and she would say "No" and then he would try to explain to her that she was hearing him and she would say "No." Sometimes no definitely means yes!
Happy 1/2 birthday Chloe!

Busy time of year
Not only due to traveling, but also b/c this is the time when people get sick. Unfortunately, I had to take Chloe to the doctor on Thursday b/c she was retracting and not sounding good. I had attempted giving her a couple breathing treatments, which worked well, but she did not want to keep doing them. So, to the doctor we went - partly b/c I have this fear of pneumonia now since Preston had it and we never even knew! Good news and bad news: there is a lot of this respiratory stuff going around right now due to the weather changes so frequently, however b/c it has happened recently with her, Dr. Griesemer said she may be on course to the same trouble that Preston has - boo! She is doing much better and a good positive to this is that her molluscum is going away! This is awesome b/c I was seriously debating getting them "frozen" off when we go to the dermatologist on the 16th. I do believe AJ started this sickness right before we went to Ste. Gen for Thanksgiving and now Chloe has it and I also have it. Hopefully we can keep Preston away from it.
Otherwise things are going great! We have a lot of our Christmas shopping done, just a couple more things to get. The house is mostly decorated, I am not sure the outside lights are getting put up this year unfortunately. The kids are doing pretty well at leaving the tree alone - mostly just have to tell Chloe "no" a couple times a day.
Chloe is really starting to talk, at least we can understand her! I would tell you the words, but I can never remember them when I am trying to tell anyone. She is very busy around the house - she walks up and down the hallway from room to room looking for something and is doing great at playing with Preston and just by herself.
Preston is enjoying school and seems to have mellowed out at times. He has his moments where he is still a little rough with Chloe, but overall is doing much better. His biggest thing right now is that he just gets jealous and wants to do whatever it is that Chloe is doing. I am hoping this goes away very soon!
AJ is considering talking to the baseball coach about becoming an assistant coach, as they have someone leaving at semester. We are trying to figure out the pros and cons and if we can make daycare work since he is always the one to pick them up in the evening.
Work is continuing to be busy as always for me. Unfortunately I had to take off on Thursday for Chloe and my co-workers had to pick up some of my patients. I'm hoping I don't have to take off anymore this year, unplanned anyway! I am pretty sure I never missed a day before I had kids and I hate not being there for my patients.
Have a great week and good luck with all the shopping!
So I didn't take hardly any pictures over Thanksgiving b/c I can't zoom with my camera or it is blurry and sometimes it is blurry when I don't zoom. It has gotten dropped several times and AJ finally sent it over the edge when we knocked it off the counter at his parents house about a month ago. I will hopefully get a new camera (this one isn't even a year old) soon so I can continue with taking pictures. For now though, there will just be limited taken :(
God bless you!

Halloween
Ok, I'm gonna make this a quick post (if I can!) Things have been good around the Gegg household. Halloween was a lot of fun. We went out with one of my co-workers and her family. Preston loves hanging out with them and they love Chloe! We walked around for probably less than an hour, but stayed and played until 9pm, and that was a fight to leave.
Chloe had to go to Urgent Care last Sunday b/c she was having trouble breathing even after I had done 2 breathing treatments with her Saturday night and Sunday morning. The doc said asthma - I'm not convinced. I think it was just a cold that turned into some respiratory trouble, but we'll of course keep an eye on her.
Shelby has recently gotten her very own house! She stays outside all day and evening until we go to bed and then she comes in our room. It has made cleaning so much easier!! She actually went in it the first day we had it! We were worried she wouldn't.
The parents as teachers lady came Friday and said Chloe is doing great. She is talking up a storm now, I don't know how much other people can understand her, but she says a lot to me!
Other than that, not much is going on. Here are some pictures:
Oh yeah, one other thing....the St. Louis Cardinals are World Series Champions!! Wild Card to Champs!! We all have shirts coming...pics to come! :)

Helping put together the dog house
Tired in the mornings
Fall has arrived!
Chloe the pirate!
Preston's hop scotch! ("using his imagination")
Chloe's cute new outfit, the dress is a little big, but she'll grow into it
I tried to get a picture of them together, holding hands didn't seem to work either!

Craziness...
Things got a little crazy after the last post. That week Chloe came down with a virus called hand, foot, mouth disease. It causes a fever (her's was relatively low) and then 2 days later break out in a rash/blister in the above stated areas. Of course though, Chloe decided to have her rash everywhere - legs and bottom seemed to be the worst. She didn't act like anything really bothered her, except that the first day she wouldn't eat a whole lot. The doc said she could see some blisters in her mouth but I couldn't find them and after a day she was eating and drinking just fine. And then as expected Preston contracted it as well, luckily his wasn't as bad as Chloe's; except his fever was really high 104 on Wednesday at school. The worst part of the whole virus is that it is very contagious, so we had to stay home all week! AJ and I switched off days so we each had a shortened week and unfortunately it was the weekend I had a course so AJ had to take off on Friday (darn long weekend, right). On Thursday when I was home, we played outside and just had a normal day - couldn't tell they were sick at all! I felt bad missing work when they didn't act sick. Otherwise we've just kind of secluded ourselves so we didn't pass on this lovely virus!
This past Friday the kids were better and AJ and I were able to take the kids to Parents Night Out at church and go out for dinner and ice cream (and Target) without the kids. It was a great night and we had a really good dinner at a Brazilian restaurant.
Chloe's vocabulary is growing daily. Today she counted to 4, we say one then she continues it out; she says Rudy and has a name for Preston which sounds kind of like pray; she will say amen after prayers; and several other things but I can't list them all! She is growing up before our eyes and I'm not liking it! :)
The Cardinals have made it to the World Series and we are enjoying watching every game - tied 1-1 right now with the Texas Rangers. Hoping for a Championship!!
Lots of pics -
