Sweet kids!

I just adore our kiddos!  They are so cute and love getting their pictures taken, well at least when they want to have them taken :)

Our baby girl is going to be 3 very soon - too soon!  I have what I think will be a very fun birthday planned for her, I'm hoping she feels the same way when it happens!

Easter

Our traditional Easter trip to Ste. Genevieve this year was a little rainy!  We had The Gegg side of the family over to Butch and Joyce's on Saturday for an Easter celebration.  For some reason I didn't take any pictures with my camera but I did get some with my phone.  You'll have to go here to see those pictures which have some from Sunday as well!
I did get one of Chloe passed out because she did not get a nap that day - I put her in our room to "rest" and watch a movie on Netflix and this is how I found her:

Easter morning it is always fun to see the kids have fun and get dressed up to go to church.  We had a good time at home getting baskets and finding eggs!  Later that afternoon, we went to Uncle Wayne and Aunt Tootsie's for the Abt side celebration.  More eggs to find and delicious food to eat!

March

In March, my mom (Grandma Jackie) came in town for a quick weekend.  The kids always have a blast when company is here!  Grandma bought some dinosaurs to paint and the kids had a great time painting every color they could.  Preston also got to play some games with Grandma, which he loves.

The kids have enjoyed being outdoors this spring - sometimes in the sun and warm and sometimes in the cold and snow! These are in chronological order...

Finger painting/Valentine's Day/Monthly pic

The kids really enjoy finger painting and I don't let them do it too often, so they do it for as long as I will let them!  It is always fun to see the different swirls they make and all the enjoyment they have doing it!  Chloe doesn't like her hands to be dirty which makes finger painting interesting as well!!

Does anyone read this anymore?

So I know it has been a very long time since I've done a post, but things just get crazy and I am not on the computer as much anymore.  Please let me know if you actually read this so I know if I should keep doing posts or not....

The past 2.5 months have been fairly busy yet we have been in Springfield most of the time!  We went to Ste. Genevieve for Easter and have been to St. Louis one time that I can think of to send Chip on his way to Wisconsin. 
Preston is still enjoying karate class, usually 3 days a week but sometimes only twice.  He started t-ball practice last week and loved it!  The coach seems like he will be awesome! They didn't do a whole lot with the ball, but they hit off the tee and ran the bases with some drills.  It seems like it will be a lot of fun!  I know Preston will have fun even if it is just b/c he is on his friend Josh's team! 
Chloe is still just having fun being Chloe!  No activities yet, but she sure keeps us on our toes anyway :)  Seh loves to be outside, cold or warm; and has not lost her love for the water.  Tonight she did not want to go to sleep and came out of her room more times than I cared to count - but the last time she came out she looked very cute!  She had on her tu-tu I made her, a tiara, princess slippers and had her wand in hand - too cute to be mad at!!
Sicknesses have been kept to a minimum, but this past week I had a cold of some sort and I think Preston came down with it which of course means it settled in his chest....so breathing treatments started early Friday morning and were given 2x/day for maintenance daily.  This morning though, our beloved Penguin nebulizer took it's last breath!  I was not able to give Preston his treatment before leaving b/c the on/off switch was done.  We now have a generic machine from the medical supply store - just glad to have a machine!
AJ has 6 days of work left - so not fair!  He is then home for the summer with the kids!  They are so looking forward to it.  I wish I could go part time in the summers...
My job is fantastic as always and we continue to be busy.  I actually have a student for 2 more days, so I haven't been doing too much of actual patient care.  I will have to begin next week!

Everything else is going great!  We hope you are having a good start to spring (I think it is here to stay???) and enjoy the upcoming weekend!
