We had a splendid day today! Preston slept until 7:30, Chloe until 9 or 9:30! We went to church and heard a great sermon about God's design for parents and their children. Tonight we had our friends, Dave and Greta over for dinner for mother's day as well as Dave's birthday! We had some scrumptious kabobs, corn on the cob and cauliflower, with some oreo pie for dessert. The kids had a great time playing outside and then went to bed without any fight - they were exhausted!
For mother's day the kids and AJ got me a rose bush, some yummy chocolates and a beautiful card. We had a great day together just hanging out. I am so blessed to have such a great family!
We tried to get some pictures of me and the children today, but they were just being silly!
Chloe has transitioned to a big girl bed! We took the side off her crib
so now she can get in and out whenever she wants. She has done
amazing! I can't believe how big she is getting and I can't believe she
will be 2 in a month...it has gone way too fast!
Chloe has been loving sunglasses lately and was being really silly at the table the other day with them on. Then of course Preston wanted a picture taken!
I hope everyone had a great Mother's day and has a fantastic week!

A month late!
Don't get the wrong idea here....I'm just late doing another post. We haven't really been busy, I just don't get on the computer much for some reason lately. So, quick updates:
Sheree and Angie came down to help me celebrate turning 30! It was a great couple of days to share with them. We had a great dinner, enjoyed some arcade games and then went out to the Mud Lounge where a creepy guy talked to AJ (tried to talk to us girls) for probably 30-45 minutes.
The Cardinals are having a great start to the season, and we thought we would help them out by showing our support on opening day!
I had made Chloe a tu-tu for Christmas and she hated it, but she seems to really like it now. She has worn it several times and doesn't really want to take it off.
Easter was spent in Ste. Genevieve with the Geggs and the Abts. We had a great time and both kids loved the easter egg hunts! I took over a hundred pictures, so visit out picasa site if you would like to see anymore!
Elle's (Terra's co-worker's daughter) birthday party was fun. Chloe really likes dogs, especially little ones - our neighbor also has a smaller dog and Chloe loves it too!
Have a fantastic week and I will try to be better again about keeping up on here.

Chloe did not like the trampoline!
Steve to the rescue!
Preston and Elle
My little boy is only 4 months away from being 4! And his little sister is getting too big, she will be 2 in a little over a month!
They really like spending time with each other now!
Ok, well I guess that is enough. AJ has 13 school days left and then he is off for the summer! Terra has started to work on Fridays (boo!) for the last 3 weeks and it is indefinitely for the time being. Luckily it is only 4.5 hours, but she definitely misses time with the kids!Have a fantastic week and I will try to be better again about keeping up on here.
