Trouble getting pics in the sun

We had my cousin, Doug take some pictures for us on the beach while we were in Florida - we had a very bright morning and it was quite difficult to get some pictures with our eyes open!

We got some good pictures too!  I will do another update when I get my pictures off my phone onto the computer!  Or just go here to see the pictures on facebook - I'll still try to do an update with them.

Been a long time

Ok, so it has been quite a while since I did anything on here...been crazy busy at work and I am just exhausted when I get home and get the things done that need to be done.  So, here is a quick update:

AJ and I celebrated our 6th anniversary!!  We can't wait to celebrate the next 70! 

Preston went to his friend Kevin's birthday party and had a great time with some of his school friends, one in particular(besides the birthday boy).

We have enjoyed the end of the summer - playing outside and enjoying the coolness of inside.

Unfortunately, we have had to do some breathing treatments

We've gone to the pumpkin patch, carved pumpkins and went out trick or treating!

Grandparents in town

My grandparents came in town the weekend after Preston's birthday on their way back home from Warrensberg.  My grandma called the Saturday prior to tell me that both of my great grandmothers had passed away that week.  So they had taken my Granny up to where Gramps was so they could be together and decided to stop to see us on their way home.  It also happened to be Grandma's birthday, so we had a small celebration here.  The kids loved having them here and playing, and we enjoyed playing cards for the small amount of time Grandpa would allow us!
