First things first - Chloe is 9 MONTHS OLD!! I cannot believe how fast time is going. At her doc appt on Friday she weighed 17 lb 1 oz and was 26.5 inches long - the 25th percentile! She is a little squirt! But I am pretty sure she is still right on track to triple her birth weight by age 1. So, no worries about that stuff. We were given the go ahead on giving her anything she wants/we want to give her to eat or drink. A couple of weeks ago I thought we were going to have to go to formula but we got some good council from cousin Katie and are still going strong!
Ok, back up now - 2 weekends ago was very busy! We were all over the place in a very short time frame - here to Ste. Genevieve on Friday, Ste. Gen to Marion, IL on Saturday afternoon for Kacy's wedding, Marion to St. Charles after the wedding so we could attend Melissa's baby shower on Sunday, then back home Sunday afternoon, home by 8pm! It was a lot of fun but very tiring! The wedding was beautiful of course and it was great to see all of our Maryville friends. Melissa's shower was a lot of fun, lots of good food and was also great to see some family that we don't get to see very often. I'll let the pictures do most of the "talking" here.
This week Tuesday we went to the Shriner's circus! It was very fun. Preston enjoyed seeing the very few animals :( and loved the clowns! The other acts were mostly acrobatic stuff and girls climbing ropes. It was good but seemed more focused for older kids and adults. We got some good pics though!
Wednesday I took Preston to Urgent Care when I got home from work. The doctor said he was basically having an asthma attack - swell! So I guess it is official (still not by our pediatrician) that he has asthma. Preston now takes Singulair daily, has a rescue inhaler and this week was taking Zithromax and doing breathing treatments multiple times/day. He was much better today as I did not have to give him a breathing treatment at all!
Today was beautiful outside! We did a lot of playing outside and the kids decided to take naps at different times today, so I got Preston alone time and Chloe alone time. It was very nice to be able to spend time with each of them individually, but I definitely don't want that happening all the time b/c I need some time too!! :)
So that wasn't all that short, but I do think I could have made it longer! That is all for now - have a fantastic week! AJ is on spring break so the kids get to stay home and sleep in (hopefully!).
