Maryville trip to Tan-Tar-A

Some of our Maryville crew decided to be crazy and go to Tan-Tar-A at Lake of the Ozarks for a quick weekend. There were 26 of us, 15 adults and 11 kids under the age of 4! As crazy and quick as it was it was a lot of fun and we are already looking forward to going again next year. The house we had was perfect for us - it had 6 rooms and 6.5 bathrooms - there were 6 families and 3 single guys - I don't think the guys minded sleeping on the couches so it worked great! Since it was a short trip we didn't do a whole lot but the kids loved the little kids pool and the slide. The weather was perfect, it only rained once and it was during nap time!

Father's Day

The Sunday after Chloe's birthday party was Father's Day so Grandpa Butch was still in town. The boys went to Bass Pro that morning and then we had some breakfast and played around a little bit with Preston's fishing pole before they headed home. It was just a lazy day for AJ at home. He didn't want to do anything special for dinner since we had so many leftovers from the party, but we went to Orange Leaf, frozen yogurt, after dinner!
Grandma Jackie was in town from Florida until Wednesday that week and got to do a lot of playing with Preston and Chloe while Terra was at work. They all had a good time and as usual Preston was very upset when she left.

Chloe's 1st birthday PARTY!!

We had Chloe's birthday on Saturday June 18th so family from out of town could all come help her celebrate. It was a scorching hot day so the little water activities helped the kids out a little bit. We had a quite the turn out for little Chloe! Several of Terra's co-workers and their families came out, some Springfield friends, Terra's best friend from high school and her boyfriend came all the way down from St. Louis just for the day, friends from West Plains (about 2 hours away) and of course Grandmas and Grandpa Butch. All in all we had a great time and Chloe was worn out!
